Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. This year, the onset of Valentine’s has had me thinking about all of the things that I love and appreciate every day. Here’s an insight into my inspiration...

The Changing Colours of London

While some people say that London simply rains all year round, I believe that every season has its own distinctive personality, with different colours, smells and tones. London is one of biggest inspirations and the changing face of the city is a reason that I am thankful to live somewhere so beautiful.

The Rain

I love the rain as the appearance of landscapes in the wet weather gives me so much creative inspiration. When the rain falls and people rush indoors, I love to wander and soak up the atmosphere of a rarely quiet city. Walking in the Rain has actually inspired two of my most recent designs.

My Family

My family means everything to me and I love spending time with everyone when I travel back to Hungary. My niece is always happy and laughing; she loves to see my bright, colourful scarves, and play with the soft material.

Four-Legged Friends

My family dog, Bizsu, is a great example of why a dog is a man’s best friend. He is always so energetic and playful; he only sees the good in life and he is always happy. It’s impossible not to fall in love with him!

Painting and Creative Expression

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to paint. Since my childhood growing up in Hungary, I have drawn, painted and played around with colours. My artist’s name, ‘Léna’ came about when I was a child experimenting with painting in oil and acrylic. I was born into a family of jewellers, so perhaps the creative spirit was always in the air. It’s a dream come true to grow up and translate my childhood wishes into reality.
